Job Description

Candidate will perform at the proficiency level of an outstanding PA/NP

when documentation is appropriate.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform H&P, gather appropriate supporting data and identify
problems.

• Outline pathophysiology, construct a plan of action for further testing
if required.

• Actively participate in rounding on hospitalized patients under our
care and document patient data.

• Accept and respond to questions and telephone calls directed by the
hospital staff.

• Become thoroughly competent in all aspects of stress testing including
ability to supervise.

Job Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program and license
with the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners; GA NP license/certification

• State License requirement - Georgia

• Current ACLS certification

• Experience preferred, preferably in Cardiology.

in Northeastern Illinois (on the edge of Chicago). Will consider an experienced
provider or new graduate. Must be Psych Certified. Other providers on site.
Clinic is open M-Sat. Schedule will be flexible hours between 7:30a and
10:00p. Can work days/wk as long as you get 40 hrs in…. what a deal. Duties
will be monitoring psych conditions including med management, weight management,
metabolic syndrome, etc. Some call involved (1 in 7 beeper call). Anticipated
patient volume will be 20-25/day. Salary will be 50% of collections up
to $150k (existing NP is currently earning this) with guaranteed base.
